What to Expect:
- Provides project management services that meet or exceed customer’s expectations throughout the life of the project and remains the single point of contact for the project.
- Employ sound risk management principles that meet or exceed project/business profitability goals and establish and ensure milestone dates and deliverables are met.
- Supports and engages in a collaborative work environment between all internal and external functions and builds trust among peers and customers by developing strong relationships.
- Establish and monitor milestone dates and communicate schedule to customers.
- Problem solves field issues and resolve claims.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ Years of construction experience required.
- 3+ Years of Pre-Engineered Metal Building experience required. PEB = (Butler preferred, Nucor, American, Varco Pruden, Chief, Metallic, etc.….).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future required.
- Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies.
- Specific abilities required for this PEB position include-
- Must have a thorough understanding of PEB systems including framing-bracing-secondary framing systems, insulation systems and energy codes, roof panels, wall panels, trim details and weather tightness details, typical design and detailing procedures.
- Must have the ability to estimate material and erection labor for various types of buildings.
- Must have the ability to accurately order buildings and parts orders from manufacturer’s ordering software/website.
- Must have the ability to measure and confirm field conditions including anchor rod placements.
- Must be able to read architectural, structural and PEB plans.
- Must be willing to travel daily within our typical work range, 100-mile radius +/- from Topeka. Out of town/state work is possible but not frequent.
