Job Purpose:

HME is seeking a Painter to utilize equipment to prep, clean, and apply various coatings to metal products and maintain quality in our manufacturing facility.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: (Doesn’t include yearly performance raises)

Nights:

  • Day 1 of employment = Additional $2/HR
  • After 6 months = Additional $2/HR = $4/hr total differential
  • After 18 months = Additional $2/HR = $6/hr total differential

Weekends:

  • Day 1 of employment = Work 36 Hours, Get paid 40 Hours
  • Day 1 of employment = Additional $2/HR

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean surfaces of workpieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids, solvents, brushes, scrapers, or compressed air
  • Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications, using paddles or mechanical mixers
  • Apply coatings, such as primers, epoxies, and urethanes with spray guns or brushes
  • Examine finished surfaces of workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags
  • Maintain and wear all required personal protective safety equipment

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in painting, manufacturing, or other related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with paint and coating specifications preferred
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
