HME, Inc. was established in 1996 by Jon Haas, PE. Since its inception, HME, Inc. has grown from a small operation in Jon's garage to over 200,000 square foot combined manufacturing facilities with over 400 employees. Founded on the ideal of providing high quality custom metal fabrication and structural steel to the construction industry at a competitive price, HME, Inc. became an industry leader in Kansas, then the Midwest, and is on track to do so nationwide.

With the expertise of in house estimating, detailing, engineering, fabrication and erection services, HME provides more than just metal fabrication to its clients. Advanced software is used to establish accurate bids; computer aided design systems and 3D modeling software aid our detailers in providing quality drawings; AWS Certified welders and process automation through state of the art CNC equipment ensures efficiency and accuracy throughout the entire fabrication process; experienced painters apply coatings as required for each job; completed products are delivered to the job site by HME Inc.'s own drivers; and our AISC-certified erection crews ensure your project is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Our Quality Assurance program guides each process from start to finish. Inspections and quality checks are implemented systematically throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure only the highest quality products are delivered to the jobsite. Quality certification has been obtained through the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
